The Healing Miracle
of Green Foods
I believe that once you read this article, you will have enough knowledge to experience a healing miracle of your own within your own body.
I want to alert you about an impending crisis that will profoundly affect your future.
You see, I believe we are in the second generation of a five generational erosion of our ability to survive as a species.
In fact, the indicators are so clear that if we were a frog or if we were a lizard, if we were a butterfly, we would have been put On a protected species list already. Because, as we speak, 30% of marriage age children are incapable of bearing their own children. They're incapable of perpetuating our species.
I believe that modern lifestyles have conspired to create an environment that fosters disease and almost guarantees that 80% of Americans will suffer terrible, painful and unnecessary deaths.
People tell me that they're concerned about their future and the future of the people they love. People are waking up to the grim reality that unless they make immediate dietary changes, they're destined to suffer from cancer, heart disease, emphysema or any number of major medical problems, these problems are avoidable. These problems can be emotionally and financially ruinous to your entire family.
People are confused. They don't know what to do to help themselves. People are tired of the conflicting expert opinions, the latest reports on super medicines or super supplements,
I believe that It's our birthright to live long and healthful lives, free of disease and suffering. And I believe with the inclusion of living green food in the daily diet we can unleash a powerful healing miracle unmatched by any modern medicine or combination of nutritional Supplements.
I believe that people spend too much money on medicine and supplements trying to suppress symptoms without ever really knowing or addressing what causes these symptoms.
Two simple facts that everybody must know is that:
You cannot be healthy without a balanced diet.
You cannot have a balanced diet without the inclusion of deep green leafy vegetables in your daily life.
It is so obvious, yet people refuse to act to correct it In fact, one common denominator exists in 95% of diseased people and this common denominator can be easily corrected by a method that's easily employed and that method is simply consuming living foods and green foods. But first, we have to know what those are.
A living food is a food that:
Is non pasteurized
Is minimally processed
Contains an enzyme complex capable of digesting itself.
Contributing excess enzymes to relieve stress at the bodily level.
This is a truly natural food.
Now, orange juice - many people think of
orange juice as being natural:
Orange juice is taken from the field
It's pressed into juice
It is condensed
It is pasteurized
It is frozen
Then it's transported
Reconstituted with local municipal water
Put into bottles
Then sold as fresh orange juice
This is not fresh. This is not living food. Remember, a living food is a food that has enzymes, that is uncooked and non pasteurized.
Green foods are foods that contain chlorophyll and chlorophyll is green plant pigment, quite possibly the most powerful element that exists in the universe. In fact.

Today, foods that contain chlorophyll are gaining wide acclaim as disease preventers. In fact, a consensus of authority agrees that green foods contain phytonutrients in combinations that are so unique that without them the human body suffers death by disease.
Today, leading medical authorities, dietitians, nutritionists, every known expert in the medical fields recommend that we consume three to five servings of deep green leafy vegetables a day - not a vitamin or a medicine, green leafy vegetables. Green food.
In fact, these nutrients, these phytonutrients that are found in deep green leafy vegetables are so powerful, they are so synergistic that no combination of synthetic medicines or supplements could ever match their healing or rejuvenative power.
Medicine is Crisis management. It is symptom suppression. One thing we must realize is that disease incubates, disease does not manifest itself over a short period of time. Disease takes months, years and decades in which it incubates, in which it becomes more and more powerful and it is our responsibility to interrupt the incubation cycles that lead to disease.
An egg represents the incubation of disease. You don't see any change for 3 weeks, and then a living chick is hatched that needs to be fed and does not look anything like the egg it incubated in.
And while we may look in the mirror every day and not see a change, while we may feel and look healthy; at one point, after the incubation cycle is complete, disease will manifest itself like that chicken. It will bust out of its shell and it will demand to be fed and what it feeds on is us.

Even supplements are only fine tuning. It's almost like fine tuning your television set. Eating proper foods is like being on the right channel and if you're on the right channel and the picture's fuzzy, then you need to fine tune. That's what supplements are for.
But you wouldn't even think about using the fine tune buttons if you weren't on the right channel. So, we have to eat right. We need to balance our diets, to eat properly and only through doing so will we reveal any remaining symptoms that will need to be addressed.
David Sandoval, president of Green Kamut Corporation, recently had the opportunity to travel to Communist China and meet with some of the preeminent medical doctors who treat the leading military and political figures. They told me they were very disturbed because the Ttraditional Practice of Chinese herbal medicine was no longer as effective as it had traditionally been.
They said that the reason was because the total accumulation of influences in the environment were overwhelming the body and the subtleties of Chinese medicine, the fine tuning of Chinese medicine was no longer effective because the entire body was so out of balance. And this was caused by depleted food, the practice of consuming cooked foods, the practice of consuming adulterated foods that are treated with chemicals.
Because, as they explained to me, the Chinese do not believe in Western allopathic medicine because it leaves side effects, if a medicine is correct for the body it will not leave side effects. That is the belief of the Chinese.
And so, they were thrilled to learn about these foods, these green foods, these plant substances that could normalize and rejuvenate the function of the body, that can restore energy to atrophied organs and, thus, create an environment where the subtleties of Chinese medicine would be effective.
Now, when we talk about green foods, you have to understand that green food contains certain phytonutrients. A phytonutrient is an element of a plant that has been identified as carrying out or instigating a beneficial function in the body.
The five elements that are contained in green foods are not typically found in other foods. In fact, these five elements are responsible for balancing the affect of all other food within our physiology. So, when we talk about a balanced diet, when we talk about eating right, this is absolutely impossible without including on a daily basis green pigmented foods; what we call green foods.
And the five specific elements that are contained in green food that are not found in any other food are chlorophyll, which oxygenates the body, enzymes which rejuvenate and are responsible for virtually every chemical reaction at the cellular level, trace minerals which are typically missing.
In fact, trace mineral deficiencies lead to most disease in the world today. The ability to:
Balance the pH
Introduction of lightweight polypeptides
Complete protein factors
Lightweight vegetable protein (enhances the immune system)
Increases reproductive function

Now, chlorophyll is quite possibly the most intriguing miracle of nature. In fact, the chemical reactions initiated by chlorophyll photosynthesis is so complex that it is not yet understood by science. It is more complex than the chemical reaction that leads to fusion or fission.
Without green food there would be no life on earth, because green food; the chlorophyll in plants, literally makes the atmosphere - creates the oxygen that is necessary for us to breathe. Chlorophyll creates the food that is the basis of the food chain.
Chlorophyll creates ozone which protects all life on earth from ultraviolet light.
Chlorophyll, the most common and yet the most under appreciated substance on the face of the earth, in fact,
is our only key, it is our only link in a solar system:
Capable of taking the energy from the sun
Distributing it in the form of life giving oxygen
Virtually the food that fuels life on earth.
As we know, form follows function, and the function in a solar system of chlorophyll is to feed everything that lives on earth. It not only takes valuable sun rays or bands of solar radiation that are valuable to create photosynthesis, but it also absorbs damaging bands of solar radiation.
And that damage that is done to the plants is quite similar to the damage that is done to our skin when we have over exposure to the sun.
Because of the striking similarity, because of the nearly identical chemical structure of chlorophyll and hemoglobin, that is the portion of blood that carries oxygen. Because chlorophyll and hemoglobin are almost identical, the enzyme complexes and the complementary nutrients that surround chlorophyll are identical to those complexes that surround and feed and serve human blood. Chlorophyll is able to efficiently release magnesium, which is the center element, and to displace it with iron.
In other words, chlorophyll is identical to human blood, with one single exception; the center element in chlorophyll is magnesium and the center element in blood is iron.
Now, some researchers suggest that chlorophyll has the ability to release magnesium from its center and absorb iron and, thus, become hemoglobin. Literally, become human blood. And this increases the ability of the body to carry oxygen. When the body is lacking the efficient distribution Of oxygen., then many different disruptions within the body occur.
In fact, when we create an environment where there is oxygen, we create an environment whereby aerobic bacteria, that is the friendly bacteria, the good bacteria like acidophalous, bifido bacteria, where these bacteria thrive, And this bacteria is a defender of the gut.
So, when we take chlorophyll into our bodies we create an environment where is abundant ability to carry oxygen to the extremities and when we absorb and carry more oxygen, we release more carbon dioxide which reduces stress on the body, creates greater energy and endurance and, most importantly. creates an aerobic environment and in an aerobic environment, disease cannot take a foothold.
Disease cannot begin its incubation cycle. And it isn't just bacteria that leads to disease. These are also the bacteria that give us bad breath, that give us body Odor, because these are dead, decaying anaerobic bacteria. When we have aerobic environment in our bodies, then the anaerobic bacteria no longer exist. They are eliminated from the body and an extremely healthful environment is created.
Nature weaves an intricate and very complex tapestry of interdependent nutrients. As powerful as chlorophyll is, chlorophyll acting alone simply is not powerful enough because chlorophyll when isolated from the plant from which it comes is separated from the enzymes, trace minerals, lightweight proteins and alkalinity that enable it to carry out its function within the body.
Now, when we take and eat a green food, a green vegetable, in effect, what we're doing is juicing - by chewing this vegetable, by chewing raw green food, we literally juice and spread those juices from those foods across the mucosa of the upper gastrointestinal tract and these nutrients become immediately bioavailable. They go directly to the cellular level where they become the building blocks and the catalysts.
Those catalysts are very, very important because many people consider only the nutrient value of food but what you have to understand is that a food that acts as a catalyst could be hundreds, thousands of times more powerful than an individual vitamin or an individual mineral.
As you can see, chlorophyll and other nutrients found in green foods are catalysts and catalysts have a much more profound impact on the body than their individual value. And I want to illustrate the power or a catalyst. Anyone who has ever worked with a resin knows that a resin will be a viscous liquid, a clear viscous liquid and until you put two or three drops of a catalyst into it, it will remain a clear and viscous liquid.
In other words, it will flow easily. But with just two or three drops of catalyst into the resin, within moments it will become hard as a stone and virtually impenetrable by water. So, if you've ever looked at a surfboard you see that it's covered with resin. If a hole gets knocked in a surfboard, you need to immediately patch it with resin that's hardened with a catalyst.
Now, that resin would have been liquid for a hundred years, a gallon of liquid and yet just three drops of a catalyst will permanently change that resin into something that it didn't resemble at all before. And so we see that foods.
JUST a small amount of proper food, can initiate chemical reactions that will permanently change your life. That could virtually change something as profoundly as that resin was changed from a liquid into something harder than stone.
So, green foods contain phytonutrients that are capable of initiating chemical reactions.
That are capable of acting as catalysts at the cellular level:
When we look and see that virtually 95% of Americans are not consuming a diet that is capable of sustaining life, free of disease, then we see that we have found what amounts to a panacea. And they say there is no panacea, there is no silver bullet.
But if there is a common denominator that is so common that 95% of people are suffering from disease because of a lack of this specific food, green food that contains specific phytochemicals capable of normalizing and rejuvenating the body, then we are very, very close to having a panacea.
Now, when we talk about chlorophyll. we must talk about enzymes and the human body needs enzymes. The human body manufactures its own enzymes but has a limited or finite ability to manufacture those enzymes.
When we take in plant sources, plant foods like green food, they will contain enzymes both antioxidant and digestive. In fact, green foods contain enzyme complexes that are identical to those enzyme complexes manufactured by the body. This becomes vitally important when we realize that our bodies have a finite or limited ability to manufacture enzymes that we are born with a bank of enzyme potential. When that bank of enzyme potential has been depleted, death will result.
Now, enzymes are pretty much misunderstood but you could understand this; cooking and processing foods eliminates enzymes from the food that you eat and only raw foods, only uncooked foods, unpasteurized foods, contain those living enzymes and there is no greater source of bath digestive and antioxidant enzymes than green foods.
Green foods which contain chlorophyll are abundant in antioxidant enzymes and antioxidant enzymes are those enzymes that defend the plant from damage by the sun, from the fallout of ultraviolet and radioactive rays.
As I stated earlier, these are quite similar to the rays, the ultraviolet and radioactive rays that we try to protect our skin from when we are exposed to the sun. Just as that sunlight will create damage in our own skin, it creates damage to the leaf and the surface of the leaf is immediately repaired and is immediately protected by this blanket of enzymes that exist.
Well, chlorophyll has an armor of enzymes capable of protecting it because its function is to interact with the sun and with the sun comes both valuable and damaging sun rays. To illustrate just how powerful chlorophyll is, to illustrate just how powerful its attraction to the sun is, you could take a magnifying glass.
Green attracts the sunlight greater than any other color and you could illustrate that with THIS SIMPLE TEST:
Actually, you would need:
Three magnifying glasses
Three pieces of paper (one piece of green paper, one piece of black paper and one piece of white paper).
Take the magnifying glasses and put it between the sun and the paper (you would see that the green paper would catch on fire twice as fast as even the black paper).
That would be a surprise to most people who would have assumed that the black sheet of paper would attract the most sunlight.
So, the form that green foods take follows their function in life and we could tap into that function and we could benefit from that function. So, by taking enzymes, both digestive and antioxidant and by increasing the volume of enzymes that we put into our body, you;ll find that we are able to retain our bank of enzyme potential.
So, let's say that our Creator wanted to give us the capability to live to 210 years old. Now, this happened quite commonly in biblical times, Let's say that He assumed that we would get 75% of our enzymes from tile food that we ate and 'we would produce 25% of the enzymes that our bodies needed within our cellular system. In other words, our body would make 25% of the enzymes and we would eat the other 75% of enzymes capable of keeping us alive.
Well, it seems today that we have inverted that figure. About 75% of the enzymes needed by our body are manufactured by our body and 20% or less of those enzymes that are needed by our body are taken in by the foods we eat.
We are typically living to be between 70 and 80 years old. I truly believe that if we lived lives where we consumed raw, living foods, green foods (that are abundant in those enzymes that create life and that reduce stress at the cellular level) then we would be able to increase our life expectancy significantly.
There's a certain dilemma that comes with an increased life expectancy.
In fact, the fact 'we're living longer than we ever have before isn't necessarily a relief. The longer we live, the greater chance that we are going to die from a disease. The greater the incubation time a disease has to manifest itself, the greater the responsibility that is laid upon our shoulders to reverse. To normalize, rejuvenate and avoid a situation where disease can incubate within our body.
Now all of us right now should he trying to reverse that trend within our bodies that artificially depletes our store of enzymes or our predisposition to manufacture enzymes.
You see, when we breathe polluted air, our body will manufacture an enzyme - boom. And it will take care or that carcinogen. When we eat food that's cooked and is incapable of digesting itself - boom. The body will manufacture those enzymes capable of digesting that food. When we have stress in our lives this leads to a free radical because we are yelling or screaming or losing our temper - boom. Our body will manufacture enzymes capable of taking care of that.
But one day, there we are, relying on our enzymes:
Eating cooked food for breakfast
Breathing polluted air
Drinking chlorinated water
All of these stresses that deplete enzymes within our body
One day, the body says, "you know what, I don't have that many enzymes to spare. You've put too much stress on me."
It is at this point that we begin to rapidly age, that disease becomes commonplace in our lives and ultimately death occurs. So again, we are born with a bank of enzyme potential, a finite ability to manufacture enzymes.
It is our responsibility to consume foods capable of self digestion, capable of not only digesting themselves, but contributing enzymes to the body to relieve stress to help the body carry out other complex chemical reactions. Enzymes are the catalysts of the body. They are designer proteins, each one created by our body to carry out a specific function. A function so diverse and so complicated that we are not capable of manufacturing chemical substitutes. These must be taken by food and they come in a complementary matrix. Where there is Chlorophyll, there are enzymes.
Where there are chlorophyll and enzymes there are trace minerals and trace minerals are the third phytochemical category that are incredibly unique to deep green leafy vegetables. In fact, if you look in a chart of minerals, you'll see that the recommended source of virtually all minerals and trace minerals. The number one source of minerals and trace minerals are always deep green leafy vegetables.
Remember that what we're trying to do is we're trying to create an environment in our body capable of interrupting the cycle of disease, capable of interrupting the incubation of disease at the cellular level and we must understand that disease does not manifest itself overnight. Disease incubates over time.
It is only through initiating chemical reactions that capture free radicals and eliminate them from the body, and digest food efficiently, that we can interrupt the incubation of disease. It is only through increasing the digestibility of our food and, thus, increasing the speed with which it is eliminated from our body that we can be healthy.
The accumulation of undigested food in the gut and in the intestines create toxemia which virtually
poisons our bodies.
By taking green foods that are rich in digestive enzymes, as well as antioxidant enzymes, we find that all of the foods that we eat digest more efficiently. All of the foods that have accumulated in our gut begin to be eliminated. And ultimately we create an environment capable of maintaining health by freeing up all the accumulated waste. And allowing the foods that we eat consequently to be fully digested, fully eliminated and, thus, fully serve their function for the body.
So, chlorophyll, enzymes and now trace minerals we find are key catalysts, key elements within green foods. Trace minerals are so important that the lack of trace minerals quite possibly is the number one cause of disease within Western culture today.
Now, as we discussed all of the co-nutrients, all of the phytochemicals found in green food are interrelated. You cannot isolate them.
You cannot take:
Put them all together and equal green food.
Because Nature has woven an intricate tapestry and this tapestry is of interdependent and codependent nutrients. One prime example of this is the delivery mechanism employed so that our bodies can benefit from the trace minerals found in deep green leafy vegetables.
Magnesium and iron are two key minerals, both for men and for women. But chlorophyll is the only food that creates an environment that is ideally suited to deliver and to maintain those proper mineral qualities within the human physiology. Many major medical problems begin with mineral deficiencies and the story of mineral deficiencies is the story of soil.
Of soil that is depleted from topsoil erosion, of soil that no longer has the minerals capable of sustaining life within the things that eat the food that's grown in that soil.
So, it's a spiral. It starts with mineral deficient soil and that leads to mineral deficient food and when we consume that food, we become mineral deficient people.
Chlorophyll allows us to efficiently deliver two major minerals that are necessary for all human beings. Chlorophyll, in fact, contains magnesium as its central element. When we ingest Chlorophyll, it immediately delivers magnesium to the muscle tissue.
Magnesium is the mineral that is absolutely essential for both cardiac and respiratory wellness. In fact, magnesium is that mineral which relieves muscle cramping, which allows our nerve endings to be soothed, which allows us to breathe efficiently.
And so, magnesium is one of the most important minerals and as the chlorophyll releases magnesium, a miracle occurs. It actually absorbs iron and becomes human blood.
A lot of women find that they suffer from:
They suffer from these things that could all be relieved with the ingestion of magnesium. Chlorophyll is the most efficient deliverer of magnesium.
Women are constantly striving to increase the amount of iron in their diets but unfortunately, many times the increase of iron in their bodies leads to constipation and headaches because the body does not know what to do with iron if it doesn't have someplace to put it.
By drinking green foods which are both abundant in chlorophyll and iron, we create the environment whereby iron is used efficiently by the body and actually strengthens the blood for both men and women. When you take minerals from plants, you can never suffer from toxicity. The minerals in green vegetables will either be utilized by the body or eliminated by the body.
They do not store and accumulate - like synthetic minerals will.
Ultimately lead to some secondary problems that are caused when we have too many synthetic minerals in our body. The ability of chlorophyll to deliver magnesium and the ability of the magnesium depleted chlorophyll to absorb iron are only two examples of the efficiency with which green foods deliver minerals.
Many people talk about the need to eliminate properly and they usually discuss fiber. But, did you know that we need potassium and cell salts in order to create an environment that eliminates toxins from the body?
Potassium causes the bowel to contract and sodium causes the bowel to expand. So when you take green foods which create abundant potassium and cell salts, in the environment where the intestines contract and expand, thus eliminating the accumulated waste.
If we only take fiber as a means of increasing our elimination, than we can actually suffer by bulking up and hulking up and literally stretching the bowel, stretching the skin of the intestines. It is only through eating these green foods that have both potassium and cell salts that we create the environment of contraction and expanding that lead to proper elimination on a daily basis of accumulated waste in the bowel. So it's not just fiber, it is also trace minerals which lead to proper elimination.
Also, green foods are incredibly rich in calcium.
Calcium leads to:
Calcium is the most touted of all the minerals. Some people take a lot of calcium supplements and a lot of trace mineral supplements, but I have to tell you that the bioavailability of these supplements is a fraction of what you get when you consume green leafy vegetables.
Trace minerals are the most misunderstood among the nutrient categories and there has been a lot of misinformation recently that has been surveyed about trace minerals. What most people don't truly understand is that trace minerals should be taken in trace amounts.
And when we talk about trace minerals we're referring to:
- Growth arid the immunity
- Sexual development
- Reproductive function
These are trace elements and just as they are valuable when taken in trace amounts and can trigger proper functioning of the body. When taken in excess through supplements we find that they can lead to toxicity and only when you take your trace minerals through food, do we find that they are capable of serving their function.
If they are in excess, being eliminated safely from the body without leaving behind the toxic residue or accumulating so that they will have a result of toxicity.
So, trace minerals do a number of things and one of the things that trace minerals do when found in organic green leafy vegetables is stimulate the production of Vitamin B12. This is important to many vegetarians who find that they may become deficient in B12, or fear that they may become deficient in B12 when they stop consuming meat. By simply consuming raw fresh organic green vegetables we stimulate a chemical reaction, a bacterial reaction that results in Vitamin B12 being manufactured.
Now, we've discussed chlorophyll. We've discussed enzymes and we've discussed trace minerals and I've shown you how each one is intricately linked to the other. The fourth phytochemical or the fourth effect of deep green leafy vegetables that are unique to green foods, is the ability to alkalize.
Now, the ability to alkalize is one of the most powerful effects that will interrupt the incubation of carcinogenic substances which begin with over acidity. And we have to understand that certain ecology of the body must be alkaline and alkaline is the measure of acid and alkalinity on a scale of 0 to I 4, with 7 being neutral. Everything above 7 is alkaline, and everything below 7 is acidic.
Now, certain ecology of the body must be alkaline in order for us to be healthy. In order for us to live the most dramatic example of that is human blood. In fact, human blood must have a pH of 7.4 in order for us to be healthy.
If human blood does not have enough alkalinity, then it will begin to steal alkaline potential from other ecology of the body.
Various parts of the body that should be alkaline include:
When our blood does not get enough raw material to keep it in a healthy pH state, in an alkaline state, then it literally will borrow or rob alkaline potential from the other ecology of the body.
The first ecology that it will rob is the mouth and this is very important because when our mouths are over acidic there are a number of common problems that we have never attributed to over acidity. Your dentist will but he doesn't quite tell you what to do.
- Bad breath
Now, probably the worst tragedy that happens as a result of the blood stealing alkaline from the mouth and putting it into an acid pH is that this changes the taste point 'within our mouths. As a result, things like salt, fat and sugar - they taste better. And good foods, simply don't taste that good because our pH within our mouth is so acidic that we do not recognize foods that are good for us,
Now, when eating green foods, if we chew or if we take a green juice and swish it around our mouth, we can see an immediate and profound effect:
Strengthening of the gums
Cessation of bleeding when we brush or floss
Reduction of' plaque
Elimination of cavities among our children
Simply by using green food. And most importantly, by normalizing the pH of' the oral cavity of' the mouth. Then we find that we are capable of eating foods that are better for us. Enjoying them and have more will power to reject those foods that are not healthy, that are not good for us.
Not Only should the mouth be alkaline but also, the small intestine needs to he alkaline in order to regulate the passage of glucose through the intestine. Now, so many people claim that they have low energy and when they take green food, they suddenly have abundant energy. They always ask me, "where are you getting the energy?". And I tell them quite simply, you are using tile energy that otherwise would have been stored as flit because green foods don't have calories.
Green juices don't have calories. They stimulate the body, they enhance the metabolism, allowing us to use the calories that have been stored so that we will not continue to store them as fat. We will utilize them as energy instead.
And so both hypoglycemics and diabetics find that they benefit significantly by taking green juice which alkalizes the small intestine. In turn, regulates the passage of glucose through the intestinal barrier, which puts us into a zone, into a metabolic zone where we have energy. Where we have endurance and stamina.
And where quite simply we don't have a blood sugar problem because our energy is regulated. It's normalized and this is done naturally, This is done as a function of eating proper food.
One beautiful thing about green juice is it typically has a pH that is identical to the pH found in mother's milk.
So, if you breast feed and you're quite interested in keeping your children healthy throughout their lives, it's a beautiful thing to switch them straight from breast milk to drinking green juice. They don't miss a beat and they continue to create an environment far better than consuming apple juice. Far better than consuming fruit juices which contain sugar, and are typically highly processed non-living foods. Even fresh juices create acids.
Even good foods like whole grains and organic foods create acids in the body and we need to create an environment that captures those acids. in fact, today I think that everybody has seen the proliferation of antacid commercials on TV. This is obvious there would not be so many antacids on TV if there wasn't a problem within our society of being too acidic within our gut.
The problem with antacids is that they don't alkalize. They neutralize acids and they neutralize acids for hours. Later, when we need acids to digest the food that we've eaten, they're not there and this leads to undigested food traveling into the gut which then becomes toxic. That leads to a poisoning of the entire body. When we take an antacid, we further the spiral by suppressing gastric juices that are necessary to digest food and as a result, undigested food gets into our gut, becomes toxic and leads to several secondary and related disorders.
Which probably is going to lead us to take more synthetic medicine and further the spiral, further the downward trajectory of our health, simply because we weren't educated enough or we didn't take the time to eat proper foods.
Those proper foods would have created the proper energy level within our bodies acid as a consequence, we would never have had to rely upon those artificial sources of energy. So, remember that while our bodies are acidic, they need to be flushed with alkaline food.
They need to have alkaline food taken into them which much like a windshield wiper when moving one direction, it will trigger thousands of chemical reactions, which is like cleaning up thousands of droplets of water and on the return trip, it does it again. So, if you never move the windshield wiper it never does any cleansing.
Moving the body from acidic to alkaline is akin to turning on the windshield wipers of your body by moving from acid to alkaline and alkaline to acid. In the movement, we trigger thousands of chemical reactions that release and eliminate toxins that otherwise would accumulate.
And if we do not initiate daily these alkaline chemical reactions, we will create an environment that incubates disease and it only takes one moment for a carcinogenic substance to damage a cell. One moment for that cell to begin multiplying and to become cancerous. And so, it is Our responsibility to continuously consume foods that are capable of interrupting the incubation of disease on virtually every level.
With the consumption of a proper diet that is heavily
balanced in deep green leafy vegetables you can eliminate:
I have an acquaintance, and every day he took a handful of antacids; the little colored fruit-flavored ones. And every single day, he had to go back to the well because he created a problem of reliance upon those antacids and after just four days of drinking green juice, he has never used an antacid again. If you or somebody you love are reliant on antacids, drink green juice, you will never be reliant upon antacids again.
So, as we see all of the phytochemical constituents found in green foods are interrelated. They each feed upon the other. They trigger a chemical reaction much like a domino effect. If you line up all of the dominos in a row but you forget two or three right in the middle, you'll never get the last domino to fall. You'll start the chemical reaction, you'll start the Chain reaction.
But it will never finish, it will never come to its conclusion because we are missing certain elements. The human physiology acts in much the same way. In order to achieve health, we need to line up all of the dominos in order. There cannot be any gaps.
Green food is the only food that literally contains all of the necessary codependent and interdependent phytonutrients:
Lightweight complete vegetable protein containing all eight essential amino acids. An abundance of lucine, isolucine, and valine. Literally, the peptides, the building blocks for the immune system that enhance reproductive function and create lean connective tissue which leads to dense, heavy permanent muscle on the body.
In fact, one perfect example of the inability of the body to efficiently digest protein is someone who is suffering from AIDS, because the body uses peptides, polypeptides, it uses these lightweight proteins in order to build white blood cells; in order to build defender cells, called T-lymphocytes. If the body is under attack by a disease it will constantly manufacture an abundance of these lymphocytes, in order to defend itself from the disease.
Unfortunately, while the body is using all resources to defend against one disease, many times because these enzymes are specifically geared to counteract one specific invasion, many times we leave ourselves open to other maladies.
If we do not provide the body with the proper volume and the proper quality of phytonutrients, then we will begin to break down our own bodies. The body will draw upon our own muscle tissue in an effort to get raw material to build the immune function.
In order for the body to complete its journey, it will
take fuel anywhere it can find it:
- Musculature (that it needs to steal to take polypeptides)
- Flesh (as a source of its peptides)
It creates quite a lot of stress on the body. When we take living foods that contain these lightweight proteins, then they are the enhancers of the immune system. Becoming the most efficient building blocks for T-lymphocytes, for defender cells. As a result, we relieve stress for the body. We enhance the immune system, we create literally a rapid response team to disease by providing the raw material by which our body manufactures those defensive enzymes.
So, as you see, enzymes are related to proteins. Trace minerals are related to chlorophyll, Enzymes are related to chlorophyll. All of these things are interrelated.
A Canadian body building magazine called "IRON MAN" once called plants with chlorophyll nature's green steroids because they had the ability to build lean muscles so quickly and to reverse catabolic activity.
Now, much of the benefit for this has to be given not just to chlorophyll, not just to the enzymes and not just to the trace minerals that contribute to that but also to the lightweight proteins that are found in chlorophyll rich foods. Which lead to the leanest, most permanent connective tissue. So, we see that green foods have a very important function within our lives.
We have illustrated that the phytonutrients found in green foods are unique to green foods and, in fact, cannot be found in other food groups. Even if we consume all other food groups properly, without the correct consumption of green leafy vegetables we will suffer.
